Halle Berry spent part of her Labor Day weekend @ the Los Angeles Zoo with 5 month old daughter, Nahla, and Berry's mom. Ms. Berry is not on the celebrity list of hawking her baby's picture to magazine outlets. That makes her even cooler. 
I spent part of my Labor Day weekend @ little drummer girl's doctor's appointment, ditching the 10 mile line @ the In-N-Out for Taco Bell, hanging around Barnes and Noble waiting for little drummer girl to pick out some books, and perusing Long's Drugs in search of a better deodorant. And little drummer girl tried to get me to buy her 3 kinds of lipstick and a mirror.
Obama already commented on the fact that McCain chose a VP candidate that has no knowledge on foreign policies. I am down to watch Biden debate Palin in the coming weeks. 
Oy, I gotta pick up my dry cleaning.
And NBC's Lipstick Jungle, which stars Brooke Shields, Kim Raver, and Lindsay Price, will be adding a recurring character played by Vanessa Marcil to interact with Shields' TV husband, who's some sort of musician. Does this mean no return to General Hospital for Marcil?
I think I'll go buy a cherry slurpee. Wonder if Les will see me sneaking out.

I read an excerpt for 90210 that included a scene between Dylan (Luke Perry) and Kelly (Jennie Garth) watching "their" son, Sammy sleep and Kelly being agitated because per usual, Dylan went MIA. This better be some mistake and taken out! I think it's for the 6th episode or something. I know, I know...Who gives a flying fig. (ME!)
Grey's Anatomy, which also premieres on the 25th, we'll get to see Meredith & 
Derek cohabitate and Yang will get a new love interest. Erica and Callie will explore together and McSteamy will be a part of their storyline. The others (George, Lexie, Alex, Izzie, Bailey and the Chief) are there too.

Gossip Girl's costume designer, Eric Daman unveiled his window display @ Bendel's last night in NYC. Each display is supposedly inspired by the main female characters. 
Leighton Meester, Taylor Momsen, Jessica Szhor, Matthew Settle and even Kelly 
Rutherford were on hand for the unveiling. The supporting female cast members who play "Blair's" minions were seen @ the event as well. Leighton brought along boyfriend Sebastian Stan, who appeared on two episodes of Gossip Girl as "Carter Baizen". Noticeably absent was Blake "Serena" Lively who was seen strolling the city with boyfriend Penn "Dan" Badgley earlier in the day.
The cast of 90210 gathered in Malibu Saturday evening to celebrate the show's season premiere on Sept. 2nd. Original cast members Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth, who will be reprising their Brenda Walsh and Kelly Taylor characters, were also on hand for last night's festivities. But like a lot of fans, I'm chagrined that these two did not pose together @ the arrivals line or even inside! You'd think that the network would make that mandatory since it would definitely be a photo-op. Guess it's still not that cool between Garth and Doherty. Oh wells. And I keep forgetting that Rebecca Donaldson, oops, I meant Lori Loughlin, is on the show. She's probably pissed that a lot of people are forgetting she's on the show.

The one and only Madonna kicked off her Sticky & Sweet tour Saturday night @ Cardiff's Millennium Stadium in Wales. That's really far from my house here in F-Mont. And the just turned 50 year old glam mom was wowing the 40,000+ fans, including hubby Guy Ritchie and kids Lourdes and Rocco. I will make myself available should anyone have an extra ticket to her show here come November.

What's the grumble I hear that the cast of Melrose Place will reunite for the Emmy telecast? That's exciting and not so exciting. We'd get to see them, but only for like, 45 seconds. And which of the revolving cast would be present hasn't
been decided. And if this is actually true, hasn't been confirmed. So I'm speculating. It's also been rumored that these Emmy people are trying to round up cast members from 90210, Knots Landing, Dynasty, and Dallas to get up on stage. 
I had refused to write a piece on "The Hills" but I received a request last night in my buzzed up state of mind. And a follow up e-mail this morning. I won't go into too much detail, but the numbers for Monday night's season premiere weren't as high as last season's. The folks @ MTV are attributing the Olympics factor to the decrease in viewership, but I think it might be that just as Audrina doesn't care about the tense situation with Lo, the world doesn't care all that much about "The Hills". In addition to Audrina not caring, she's also "over it". That last scene was the funniest part. How did Lauren manage a guest spot on "Greek?" And I must admit that Heidi is way prettier than her sister. Who is she anyway and you know she's just trying to cash in on their expired 15 minutes!

Shannen Doherty was papped @ the Green Door in LA on Saturday (who's the big dude with her?). When was the last time she was spotted out on the town? Maybe she's always out and about and now everyone (and by that, I mean all 90210 nostalgic fans) suddenly cares again because she's heading back to the Hills of Beverly. I know I care. 
Jennie Garth told TV Guide that she recently filmed her first scenes with Shannen and she was quoted as saying, "It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be." And Garth said once they got into it, "It felt like a good fit." Squeeeeeee....
Robert Buckley, who plays photographer Kirby on "Lipstick Jungle" was spotted out again @ the movies (he sure likes to go a lot) earlier this week. He went to see a screening of "The House Bunny" and I'm wondering why? Who made him do that and did he actually sit through the entire film?

The just vacated November 21st Harry Potter release date was just snapped up by none other than the highly anticipated "Twilight" movie. Potter was pushed back to the summer of 2009. Now fans of Twilight, starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, are probably going to have to change their December set plans to the new date. But hey, you guys will get to feed your obsession weeks earlier.

This December marks the reunion of Titanic co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio and the awesome Kate Winslet in the film, "Revolutionary Road." Winslet's husband, Sam Mendes directed the movie and it's about a married couple living on autopilot who question if this is what they really want in their 30's. 
Can you believe Titanic was like a decade ago? Winslet was in her early 20's and

Looks like two BFFers (my Kelly and Brenda version for the 21st century) are coming to blows in the not so distant future. Gossip Girl stars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester were filming scenes in Brooklyn on Thursday for the upcoming and much anticipated (probably by me only) second season (which begins Sept 1). This scene takes place in the 5th or 6th episode. Lively's "Serena" character will be going in a different direction and will be hanging out with a new friend named "Poppy" who will probably cause friction with current BFF, "Blair" played by Meester. For those who may have read the books, Aaron Rose, who has yet to be cast, is set to appear in episode 7 or 8, but I gather he isn't going to be portrayed on screen the way he is in print. But Serena will be dating him, just like she did in the book version. Check out more pics of their cat scratching below as well as them laughing prior to getting down. Did Serena really pull off Blair's sacred headband? Oh, and Eric gets a boyfriend.

Queen Amidala was in Malibu last Sunday shopping with a friend. Boyfriend Devendra Banhart was nowhere to be seen. Maybe he was shampooing his beard. The Venice Film Festival will be screening Natalie's 17 minute directorial debut, "Eve" next month. And she has a vegan shoe line. And her ex-boyfriend Gael Garcia Bernal is having a baby with his girlfriend. And her NYC condo is for sale. And I think her gangsta music video ("We love you Natalie; I wanna f*** you too!") for Saturday Night Live a few years ago was one of the best skits ever. 
John Mayer was spotted jetting out of LAX on Wednesday and he didn't look chipper like he usually is. What gives? Some say that Jennifer Aniston was the one who dumped him because she found out he was getting nuk-nuk from some assistant on his tour and even a random groupie chic. If that's the case, then that's a little yuck-o. And why is he giving that sad vibe look? Oh, Mayer. He looks really hot now so that's a positive for him. 
Grant Show is set to guest star on Private Practice this fall as Addison's older brother. Show is currently on the air on a day I do not know. I do know the name of the show though; Swingtown. And yes, it is about swingers. He has that 70's look going on. He was hot with Heather Locklear (who's dating "Peter Burns") on Melrose Place, bland with Courtney Thorne-Smith, and dated Laura Leighton in real life who eventually married another Melrose co-star, Doug Savant, currently on Desperate Housewives with Marcia Cross who played psycho Kimberly. Whoo! Hi-Five!

She's only kissed 3 guys in real life and says she's the happiest she's ever been now. But what happens if and when Penn Badgley and her break up and she goes out with some other dude? She'll be the happiest she's ever been...again. One thing about Blake, she always seems to be effortlessly put together. Do you think she did have a nose job though?

Sophia Bush was snapped by fans in North Carolina on Tuesday shooting scenes for the upcoming season of One Tree Hill with her co-star who plays Millicent (and Mouth's girlfriend). I just found out that a big reason why this show is on is because they are endorsed heavily by sponsors, like Sunkist. And they also play some of the best music on this show, but I'm not down for what they put on their soundtracks.
Also, I waited in line a long time this morning @ Starbucks. Plus, my associates ask me what's different about my hair. Is it different?
So the CW network stated that there currently isn't a deal with Tori Spelling @ the moment as far as an appearance on 90210. Entertainment Weekly contacted Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty for comments and Jennie expressed "bummed" feelings and added she hasn't spoken to "T" yet. Shannen just said that they got the numbers wrong in the first place and that was all from her. She didn't mention Tori. For shame! I was hoping for them to don their "Addicted to Love" dresses and then sing back up for root problem Emily Valentine on "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do." I've read some sides where Kelly and Brenda seem to be disagreeing already and that they may be crushing on the same teacher @ West Beverly. Why?

The Cure also has The Perfect Boy/Without You released today as well as San Francisco Days by dreamy Chris Isaak.

So I was going through footage of different celebrities signing autographs for fans and autograph dealers and surprisingly, the A list celebs were cooler than the D and Z listers. Adam Sandler took pictures and made small talk 
while Brooke Hogan (yeah, who?) said she could only sign one each since she had to go to work. Meryl Streep signed a bunch and yet Molly Ringwald commented she "could only sign 2" and that was it. And to think I was a little bummed I didn't catch her in Sweet Charity last year. Julianne Moore, who is really a hella good actress (yay Marlene from Hand That Rocks the Cradle!) signed and signed and was actually looking @ the type of pictures the fans had of her. And there was Adrienne Barbeau (she played Maude's daughter, right? I actually even watched reruns of that eons ago!) who could only sign a few as well. I just thought it was funny since there weren't even huge crowds for Hogan, Ringwald and Barbeau. There were like 10 or less. 
So John Edwards admitted to an affair with that Hunter woman a couple of years ago. He also says he isn't the father of her little girl and is willing to take a paternity test. Edwards also states he is no longer seeing this woman. Then why did the National Enquirer of all publications catch him last month in the Los Angeles area visiting her and her baby late one night? That isn't good. I read the Enquirer's account and it was pretty juicy. His wife, Elizabeth has already vowed to stand by Edwards. She probably wouldn't if he wasn't in politics though. This should play out in the media for a while.

The Backstreet Boys are putting out another album. Does anyone know why? Their previous one didn't do so well. Maybe they should stop trying for a while and give their 5 fans time to miss them.

Madonna was back in her turf in Michigan over the weekend to screen her film, "I Am Because We Are." She's been looking all gaunt lately. 
We all know that gas prices are high and it's nice to discover a station with a lower price, but Costco ain't that much cheaper than everybody else. I always see the line extending to Oregon whenever I pass by my local Costco. I wonder what's so special about their fuel.

parents on Footloose starring Kevin Bacon? I knew you'd remember. Dianne had that scary look going on in Footloose with the dark hair slicked and tied in a bun. She's a hella good actress.

So I was channel surfing and came across Jacklyn Smith's reality show about hairstylists, Shear Genius. One of their tasks was to update the hairstyles of the 3 original Charlie's Angels and Kate Jackson was a guest judge. It was pretty awesome. Charlie's Angels
e best shows ever. Hands down, Angels in Chains was the best episode. Sorry Beamish. I believe Charlie's Angels came on right after Eight is Enough on Wednesday's, right Master Sibling? Oh, to start watching prime time TV @ four years old.
Chace Crawford landed @ LAX on Thursday as he is scheduled to appear on the Teen Choice Awards with Leighton Meester on Monday. Blake Lively and Penn Badgley 
went walking through the Meatpacking District on Wednesday and Taylor Momsen (so skinny) and 
Jessica Szohr were strolling earlier this week by the STK restaurant in NYC.

I've seen some of her character's wardrobe displayed @ the Warner Bros. studios.
