When I read that Ellen Degeneres dressed up as 'change' for her talk show, I though it was political with the election coming up and all.

I think that's what she kinda wanted us to think. But she figuratively came as 'change', as in coins and stuff. Pretty funny.

Medusa Martha Gossips With Cleopatra

Martha Stewart was all decked out for Halloween this morning as Medusa for her show and made a pumpkin marble cake with Gossip Girl star, Blake Lively, who came dressed as Cleopatra.

Blake has been a huge fan of Stewart's and her mom and sister flew out to New York just to see Martha, not Blake.

So that's what Lively would look like with dark hair.

The Today Show Posse

Following with their tradition, the Today show news team opened their broadcast in costume.

Matt Lauer was Humpty Dumpty, Meredith Viera, who was made up really good, dressed up as Pinnochio, Ann Curry was an elegant Cinderella, and Al Roker came as the Gingerbread man.

But Natalie Morales looked great. She was Princess Leia (nice ear buns) and her kids were dressed as Luke Skywalker and little Yoda.

Regis And Kelly Do Halloween 14 Times

As usual, Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa do Halloween with various costume changes. A total of 14 for this year including Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers.

They started off their show by appearing as Joe Biden and Sarah Palin. Philbin and Ripa also took on the roles of Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus.

Edward And Bella Romance In Rome

Twilight couple Edward Cullen and Bella Swan premiere their love story in Rome.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were on hand as throngs of fans greeted them in anticipation for the movie that's probably going to break box office records. The two stars were joined by director Catherine Hardwicke.

The Twilight tour begins on November 10th and the cast will be making appearances all over the place. Pattinson is expected to be in San Francisco on the 10th so be on the look out for major screaming.

Triple Threat Teen Drama Galore

Michael Ausiello over @ Entertainment Weekly reported earlier today that the CW has ordered additional episodes of their three young adult dramas.

One Tree Hill (Chad Michael Murray, Sophia Bush, Hilarie Burton, James Lafferty, Bethany Joy) has picked up steam this year and will be filming a total of 24 episodes for what could be their final season. Could it be because crazy nanny Carrie was just that loony that we couldn't help but watch? Or does everyone really love little Jamie? Really?

Newcomer 90210 (Jessica Stroup, Dustin Milligan, Shenae Grimes, Ryan Eggold, Rob Estes) has also been asked to shoot 24 shows for the 08-09 season. Original viewers will definitely be back once Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty begin to re-appear. And Jason Priestley is slated to direct an upcoming episode. Hopefully the one where Shannen and Jennie are in.

And of course, Gossip Girl (Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Chace Crawford, Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick, Taylor Momsen). Theirs is the big one. The 2nd season has been phenomenal and the ratings have gone up up up. The CW had previously requested 2 additional episodes bringing their count to 24. They just tacked on one more show, bringing viewers 25 episodes for season 2. These kids will surely be banking bucks. Yay! More Dorota!

Rome has two of the hottest stars in their vicinity. Lead actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart appeared with director Catherine Hardwicke for the Twilight Photocall @ the Rome Film Festival.

The trio were to make their way to the movie's premiere later in the evening.

Crooner John Mayer was @ the Blackberry Storm launch party last night @ The Avalon - Hollywood and spoke to reporters of course, but did not speak about recycled flame, Jennifer Aniston.

I really like his hair this way. It makes him so much hotter. And I dig his inked up arm too.

Meanwhile, Aniston was doing a photoshoot @ Smashbox Studios on Tuesday dressed up in business attire.

Lauren Graham Heading To Broadway

Actress Lauren Graham, better known as Lorelai Gilmore of Gilmore Girls fame, will be heading to Broadway next year when she debuts as Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls.

Oliver Platt will co-star with Graham as Nathan Detroit. Previews begin February 3 and March 1st is the expected opening date.

I think Lauren Graham is a wonderful actress and she sings pretty darn okay. She sang I Will Always Love You on an episode of Gilmore Girls and Matthew Perry's friend can certainly carry a tune; You betcha! She was great in that scene.

Googly-Eyed For Only Each Other

Gossip Girl off-screen couple, Blake Lively and Penn Badgley were strolling along this morning in Queens, NY as they headed to the set in their winter gear and big bright umbrella for two. Yeah, the huge red rain shielder won't make people pause to gawk @ them.

They must have been filming scenes though because Blake looks hella fixed up already. Usually you see her heading to the set with no make up, her iPhone glued to her ear, and her hair all mussed up.

And why are they all smiling and making googly eyes @ each other as if no one or no 50 paparazzo are snapping their every walking moment? Okay, they just must be that in love with each other. Or, really just filming.

Blake's older sister, Robyn (star of Teen Witch and that old WB soap, Savannah), was quoted over the weekend in LA saying the whole Lively clan just loves Penn, who turns 22 this Saturday. Lively and Badgley were home-schooled together when they were 11 years old and reconnected when both were cast on Gossip Girl. They've been dating about a year now.

Yesterday in Coldwater Canyon Park in LA, Gwen Stefani & Gavin Rossdale's oldest son, Kingston went on a play date with Ruby Sweetheart Maguire, Tobey Maguire & Jennifer Meyer's little girl.

The two cute as can be kiddies were being wheeled around in a radio flyer wagon. Kingston hung on to Ruby as her mom followed closely with a nanny in tow.

Obama In Primetime

Tonight @ 8:00 pm, an infomercial will be telecast featuring Democrat Barack Obama and his race for the presidential seat. Obama purchased a 30 minute ad space to hopefully convince more voters his way.

The Senator is already leading in some key states and we shall all find out next week who will be the next President of The United States.

We're all going to go out and vote November 4th, yeah?

Lipstick Jungle Junked?

Say it isn't so! They may as well just cancel it altogether.

NBC announced it was doing a re-shuffle and moving Lipstick Jungle to Friday nights. The cast, Brooke Shields, Kim Raver, Lindsay Price, Andrew McCarthy, & Robert Buckley, may just as well shuffle their way back to LA in time for pilot season.

It seems to me that for some reason, it is hard to capture an audience where the program deals with women, their careers, friendships, and love lives. Basically, Sex & the City for the modern generation. Teen soaps (One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, 90210) flourish all over. Crime dramas (Law & Order, CSI, NCIS) keep being added. Medical shows (Grey's Anatomy, House, ER) remain high on the list. But Cashmere Mafia, Emily's Reasons Why Not, and possibly Lipstick Jungle are shows that if you blink, they're dunzo.

At least I still have How I Met Your Mother!

Melrose Place Redux

So the CW confirmed that it is actively pursuing the revival of 90's salacious nighttime soap, Melrose Place.

Is that a good idea? Are they going to go the new 90210 route and bring in new people to live in an apartment complex and have old regulars drop in?
Heather Locklear would so make an appearance and so many people would watch. Oh, I just remembered; Kristin Davis' character was killed off so she can't walk by the screen.

What about Alyssa Milano, who played mini-Manicini? No, thanks.

Marcia Cross and Doug Savant should take a drive out of Wisteria Lane and head straight to Hollywood. Kelly Rutherford could leave her kids again on the Upper East Side and Daphne Zuniga can give Brooke Davis her clothing design business back.

Prison Break Does The Paley Center

The cast of Prison Break, including star Wentworth Miller and Sarah Wayne Callies were on hand as The Paley Center for Media Presents: Prison Break.

The event was held in Beverly Hills last night and it gives fans a chance to see their favorite stars up close and personal as well as a photo and autograph session with time permitting @ the end of the discussion.

If you ever have the opportunity to attend one of these Paley events, I highly encourage it. It gives you insight on show development as well as input from the actors.

Aaron Rose, Kinda Charming

Okay, so Gossip Girl was pretty good tonight. Was Vanessa on a lot?

Best part of this episode was any scene that had Dan (Penn Badgley) and Blair (Leighton Meester) together. They should totally have an ongoing weird friendship type relationship. And, maybe they will. I mean, she didn't deny to Dan she was in love with Chuck (Ed Westwick). And when Dan told Blair that the single most greatest thing in his life was when Serena (Blake Lively) first told him she loved him, she responded with, "But you broke up". I thought that would be the end but Dan's response was even more awesome, "Yeah, but it doesn't mean I wouldn't do it all over again". SQUEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was so squee-worthy. I don't want D & S to get back together right away but sprinkling in glimmers of hope each episode is just as amazing.

Jenny? Last week you looked cute and normal. This week, you have a maybe mullet, thick ass eyeliner, and Nate asking to hang out with you. Oh, shirtless Nate.

Was Nate (Chace Crawford) and Jenny's (Taylor Momsen) kiss kinda hot? Um, that would be a yes. And she's 15!

Curious Cruise

The Cruise Clan (well, three of them @ least) were out and about in New York City earlier today. Tom, Katie, and cutie Suri were walking hand in hand. Curious George and a bear went along for the stroll.

If Katie Holmes cuts her hair any shorter, it'll look just like Tom's hair and we don't want Suri to be confused as to which one is mommy and which one is daddy.

Twilight heroine, Kristen Stewart was in Madrid, Spain with co-star Cam Gigandet for the Crepusculo photocall.

Kristen is of course Fella Bella in the movie. I added the Fella cuz of her deep voice. Very pretty girl though and she looks good with Robert Pattinson.

Volchek looks pretty good, doesn't he? I forget which character he plays in Twilight so I'll just refer to him as Volchek.

And who's this lady? I know it isn't Stephanie Meyer, author extraordinaire. Is it? I thought she was brunette.

DKNY Dinner

The Thompson Hotel in Los Angeles held the DKNY Men VIP Dinner and After Party for the 2008 GQ Luxe Lounge.

Brothers & Sisters co-stars Matthew Rhys (Kevin Walker) and Dave Annable (Justin Walker) were on hand as well as Emmy Rossum, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Isiah Washington and other actors I have never seen before.
On another note, It's so hot outside.

Dan And Serena Switch Partners

Yesterday in Brooklyn, Gossip Girl was filming a scene that included stars Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, and their new love interests, John Patrick Amedori and Natalie Knepp who play Aaron Rose and Lexi. Ironically, Lexie is supposed to be Aaron's ex-girlfriend. Now that Serena is dating Aaron, Serena's ex, Dan will be sorta dating Lexi. Only in television would all these exes look chummy. And I can't say ex enough, can I?

When the camera's weren't rolling, Lively and Badgley looked to be all googly-eyed for only each other.

Even playing footsies while their guest co-stars awkwardly stand there. I wonder what was going through Amedori and Knepp's minds.

This episode is scheduled to air on December 1 and will involve these 4 attending Dan and Serena's charity Snowflake Ball for school. Yeah, I can't wait to see how that turns out.

Robert Pattinson All Scruffed Up

Looking For Work

I went to the Kelly-Moore paint store this afternoon to check out some colors for my office. The purple walls are getting to me and I need a change. I think I may have found something too. I was intent on part of the walls to be burgundy but that's way too bold. And dark.

But my query is how long do those guys stand outside stores like Kelly-Moore, Home Depot, & Lowes hoping to find work for the day? Some were even already dressed in paint drab. I figured they'd start to pack it in before lunch. But no; they're just sitting out there watching the cars drive in and out, hoping they'll be approached and offered. Hmmm...

Donatella Is A Superstar

The Fashion Group International's 25th Annual Night of Stars honored Donatella Versace with the Superstar award @ Cipriani Wall Street in New York City this evening. Versace showed up with her very frail looking daughter, Allegra (hopefully, she's receiving some sort of treatment).

Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez were on hand to celebrate with Donatella. As were Prince, Karl Lagerfeld, Ashley Olsen, Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Christian Louboutin, Kate Bosworth, and more.

Cox was with some friends, including jewelry designer, Jennifer Meyer. Meyer happens to be Tobey Maguire's main woman and mother to his daughter.

90210 off-screen couple, Jessica Stroup (Silver) and Dustin Milligan (Ethan) were @ the Kitson boutique debuting a new T-shirt line. They were joined by fellow co-stars, Ryan Eggold and the guy who plays Navid.

Afterwards, Stroup celebrated her 22nd birthday with friends @ El Compadra in LA.

Justin Timberlake and Rihanna were in LA yesterday shooting a music video for their collaboration of 'Rehab'.

Artists are still shooting music videos but its hard to be able to view them because MTV and VH-1 hardly show them Am I right? And with TRL closing its doors, we won't even see video glimpses anymore.

Scott Speedman was spotted in Los Feliz, CA yesterday walking to somewhere.

The 33 year old London born actor will be in the latest GQ magazine featuring him as a 'Maine Man'. I wonder who claims him as her main man.

Tired Tuesday

It's still so dark when I get to work in the mornings. And even though we're in mid October, the weather is so warm out. It's like 80 degrees. Doubt this will stick on Halloween .

So I've been lax on my blogging due to my workload during the day and little drummer girl's schedule after hours. My head is so filled with work stuff I can't sit back and peruse for nothingness and pop culture stuff.

Blake And Leighton's Weekend

Well, they're no longer doing 30 Rock but they still have Gossip Girl. Blake Lively and Leighton Meester were spotted separately on Sunday in and around their adopted home base of New York City.

Blake was snapped in the West Village heading to lunch with co-star and boyfriend, Penn Badgley. It must be cold in New York; Badgley was all scarfed up and Lively had the boots and sweater action going on.

Earlier in the week, Blake flew home to Los Angeles after her father got into a car accident (He is expected to make a full recovery). The ever supportive Penn was by his girly's side (that's aww worthy). Both actors were business as usual toward the end of last week when they reported back to work.

Leighton Meester was @ an aww worthy event yesterday. She attended the 'Children Affected By Aids Foundation Dream Halloween' and spent time with some inspiring young folks.

Don't forget an all new episode of Gossip Girl airs tonight. It's Blair and Chuck centered and very heat packed between them. And Dan & Serena make up and attempt the friendship route. But watch out, Aaron Rose makes his appearance next week and sets head scarf feeling all warm and gooey inside.

Sacha Baron Cohen & Isla Fisher's daughter, Olive, had a celebrity filled, cowgirl themed 1st birthday party @ her parents Bev Hills estate earlier today.

Jennifer Aniston, Courteny Cox, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, Ben Stiller, Kate Beckinsale, Tobey Maguire, Jack Black, and Seth Rogan to name a few, were all in attendance to help little Olive celebrate her big day.

Not a lot of pictures have surfaced yet. The only ones have been of JA. I'm guessing she was there because Cohen used to rent her Hollywood Hills home during her marriage to Brad Pitt. And they've stayed friends?

Twilight star Robert Pattinson was @ the Austin Film Festival last night and some very lucky fans got the chance to meet Edward Cullen himself. One said he stood up like a gentleman to shake her hand and another worked a 12 hour shift before trekking over to meet Pattinson.

RP was @ the film festival to showcase his other film, How To Be. He plays a dude named Art.

Shannen Shakes It Up Dos More Times

Oh, goody. Shannen Doherty aka Brenda Walsh has agreed to return to the CW's 90210 for an additional two episodes beginning November 18th. Maybe we'll find out why she was so upset deleting Dylan's contact info from her phone or if she did indeed go and visit her twin brother, Brandon and family.

In other 90210 news, Jessica Walters, who plays Annie and Dixon's grandmother has been dropped from series regular to recurring status. What, no more Linda Gray then?

And troubled druggie Adrianna, played by Jessica Lowndes, has been bumped from recurring to series regular. Ooh, they traded in one Jessica for another.

A John McCain spokeswoman confirmed that Republican Vice Presidential nominee, Sarah Palin, will appear on tonight's Saturday Night Live Broadcast.

The host for this evening is Josh Brolin, who plays the current president, George Bush in the Oliver Stone film, W. It chronicles Bush's life and presidency.

The ratings will surely soar tonight. Let's hope Tina Fey makes an appearance as well. That would be golden.

Jen Visits School, Then Visits John

I guess the rumors going around that Jennifer Aniston is back with John Mayer are ring true. She just doesn't want out of the spotlight, does she?

Ah, The Price To Film In New York

More and more television series are migrating east to film their New York based shows to, well, New York.

There's 30 Rock, Special Victims Unit, Life on Mars, Gossip Girl, Lipstick Jungle, Ugly Betty is a new transplant, Fringe just started this past season, and of course, Sex and the City was filmed in New York.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the average cost to shoot just one episode in NYC is 3 million dollars. Yowza! 3 million dollars. That's a shit load of money. Who's floatin' all this dough?

Sure, the economy is in bad shape, but our need for network programming is so much in demand. Yes, spend 3 million dollars so we can stare @ Joshua Jackson, Brooke Shields, Tina Fey, Christopher Meloni, & Ed Westwick.

Ah, who am I kidding? Television is a great love.

My, My, Edward Cullen's Looking Hot

Robert Pattinson was @ the LA premiere of Sex Drive last night and his hair was all in disarray but perfectly coiffed @ the same time.

The 22 year old star of Twilight will be in Austin this weekend for the film festival to support his film, How To Be. And then it will also show @ the Gotham Screen Film Festival in New York City on Saturday, November 1st. Word is that the two screenings are sold out.

Sold out, huh? All the Twilight fanatics want their fill of Pattinson / Cullen boy.

The Twilight premiere is set for November 17th in LA. It sure to be a frenzy with sleep overs in cars and in the street just to secure a nice shiny spot in front of those barricades.

Seattle Grace's New Intern

Ex Alias co-star Melissa George will be shaking things up a bit on Grey's Anatomy. She'll be a new intern set to debut on the November 6 episode and George's character will not only be bi-sexual, she'll have some prior connection to Dr. Meredith Grey, played by Ellen Pompeo. In what capacity? I do not know.

I heard she may also be involved in the Callie (Sara Ramirez) / Erica (Brooke Smith) storyline.

Melissa played Emma's nanny on Friends. And she was Clive Owen's wife in Derailed. Just thought I'd share that with you.

Tea Leoni And David Duchovny No More

Well, we should have known that this had happened months before David Duchovny entered rehab for sex addiction; he and his wife of eleven years, Tea Leoni, have confirmed that they have been separated for a while. People confirmed this story.

No talk of divorce. Yet. But I don't think Leoni would want to stay married to someone who can't keep it in his pants for very long.

On top of husband David Arquette showing his support, Courteney Cox had a flurry of friends @ the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles last night for her directed short film, Streak. Glamour magazine presented their annual Glamour Reel Moments with short films directed by Cox, Demi Moore, and others.

Jennifer Aniston was there of course as well as Cox buddies, Laura Dern, Sheryl Crow, Jennifer Meyer, sister in law Rosanna Arquette, and TV husband, Matthew Perry. Lisa Kudrow, why you not show up?

Rita Wilson, Lucy Lui, Ashton Kutcher, Kirsten Dunst, and David Spade were also there.

Blair And Dorota FTW!

My favorite character on Gossip Girl has gots to be Blair's right hand maid, Dorota!

I think I even saw a fan who had her picture taken with the great Dorota, played by Zuzanna Szadkowski. That makes some of us envious, no?

Remember when Blair gifted her subordinate a cell phone last Christmas so they can text? Cute. You just know that next to Serena, Dorota is her other BFF.

Leighton Meester and Szadkowski were shooting scenes on Monday for the series' Thanksgiving episode.

Meanwhile, Meester's onscreen bestie, Blake Lively (Serena van der Woodsen), was reported to have flown back home to Los Angeles after receiving news that her actor father, Ernie Lively, was in a serious car accident on Monday. He is expected to make a full recovery despite suffering back and lung injuries. No word on whether Blake has made the return to New York or if she is still in the Burbank area.

The Final Countdown

Tonight is the third and final presidential debate between Republican nominee, John McCain and Democratic nominee, Barack Obama. The debate will be broadcast live from New York @ the Hofstra University in Hempstead.

McCain and Obama are set to be seated next to each other for this round.

The election is less than a month away and the 90 minute debate will most likely focus heavily on the economic crisis.

Obama has been leading McCain in the polls and CNN conducted a poll of polls (huh?) that have Barack leading 50 percent to John's 42 percent.

I received my absentee ballot yesterday. Ooohh...

Chace And Taylor Together

No, they're not a couple. But they may end up as one onscreen.

Chace Crawford and Taylor Momsen of Gossip Girl (he plays Nate, she plays Jenny) were @ the Filth and Wisdom screening in New York City on Monday and they posed attractively together.

Pictures of the two kissing for an upcoming episode were circulated last month, which should air on October 27th. A love triangle is supposedly in the works between Nate, Jenny, and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr).

Momsen is 15 years old. Crawford is 23.

Madonna And Guy Dunzo

The rumors have been confirmed by Madonna's longtime rep, Liz Rosenberg; Madge and her husband of seven and a half years, Guy Ritchie, are divorcing.

We all kinda knew this already, right? So now we know for reals. It's ovah!

Courteney Cox and Demi Moore took part and directed their respective short films. Cox directed "Streak" while Moore helmed "The Monday Before Thanksgiving".

Courteney's BFF, Jennifer Aniston participated last year (I think) and directed her own short film.

The series of short films benefit Film Aid International and all shorts can be views @ the Glamour Reel Moments web site.

Brooke, Kim, And Lindsay Parking It Up

The three stars of NBC's Lipstick Jungle, Brooke Shields, Kim Raver, & Lindsay Price were @ James Walker Park in New York on Tuesday, where they were filming a scene.


Lipstick Jungle follows three best friends as they struggle with work and love all the while having each other to lean on.


Shields plays Wendy, head of a movie company (a la Sherry Lansing?) with a husband and two kids. Her daughter is growing up fast and naturally, they are butting heads. Oh, and she just got fired from her job for forging a signature on a medical report for a terminally ill friend she hired to play John Lennon but ultimately died on set.

Raver plays Nico, a magazine editor who recently lost her husband and discovered he had a girl on the side who is carrying his love child. She is cougar like, dating twenty six year old Kirby Atwood (Robert Buckley), whom she started shagging while her husband was still alive.

And then there's An-Li. Oh no, that was her character on All My Children. Janet? No, that was her 90210 character. Okay, I have it now; Victory Ford! Fashion designer who fell for rich dude Joe Bennett (Andrew McCarthy) but eventually put the kibosh on that. She is currently nuzzling her contractor, Rodrigo. Roar!

And yeah, I'm blogging about it. LG and Prada are mixing it up. They released a Prada inscripted phone, which sold about a million globally. And towards the end of the month, LG is hoping to market Prada II in Europe. The cost to have the word Prada etched on your QWERTY sliders? Eight hundred sixteen dollars (600 Euros). There's an FM radio, 5-megapixel camera, WiFi, and other juggernauts.

Dang! We all know Prada don't design no phones. Do they? So LG paid the fashionista brand a bunch of money to use their logo/name?

Hey, I'm all into these designers as much as the next person, but who's going to buy this? Celebs would probably get it for free. That's if they desire a European device.

Excerpts of Brady Bunch star Maureen McCormick's memoir were just released. The weather is really starting to change her in No. California. It's starting to get real cold in the morning time and of course, it's getting dark @ an earlier pace. Fall is coming in full circle. I kinda like it. It gives me reason to wear my scarves again. I was an avid scarf wearer in school. I wore one pretty much every day. This past weekend, I wore two different ones consecutively.

And Jordan Knight and Joey McIntyre wore scarves @ their concert.

I've seen a bunch of New Yorkers wearing scarves because it's already cold back East.

New Kids Are Fine Men

New Kids on the Block played @ the HP Pavilion in San Jose, CA last night and goddamn, it was such a good show. You couldn't help but get in to it. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My companions, Buster, Goose and friends totally loved it as did Flower Girl, Jean Jacket and the flask buddies.
Even the girl sitting in front of us who either came from work or was heading to work after the show got her groove on despite being in her uniform. I loved her dance moves!

Lady GaGa and Natasha Bedingfield totally kicked ass with their performances. Bedingfield even came out after her set to sign CD's and shirts. Too bad I missed that opportunity to meet her.

And Jordan's solo performance with his shirt blowing open was not cheesy @ that moment. God, he has a killer body! They all do. Even my favorite, Jon Knight. Hi, Danny Wood.

They're playing Las Vegas right this very minute. And since it's Vegas, of course there's an after party.

Model Taylor Momsen

Taylor Momsen, who plays little Jenny Humphrey from Brooklyn on Gossip Girl, is on the cover of Crash magazine.

Momsen, who is 15 years old, is the youngest model ever to sign with IMG.

So the latest is Jason Priestley will return to 90210 behind the camera. He's slated to direct an episode (and maybe more?). And then his TV twin, Shannen Doherty is thisclose to appearing again as Brenda Walsh dos more times. Jennie Garth will return as Kelly Taylor for 6 more episodes (@ maybe $50,000 an episode? Hell, yeah, she'll return!).

Will Adriana survive her OD scene from last week? Well, from the promo images that got out, it's very likely.

And with Dustin Milligan (Ethan) and Jessica Stroup (Silver) coupling up off-screen, so has Jessica Lowndes (Adriana) and Adam Gregory (Ty).

Blair And Serena Disappear From 30 Rock Lineup

Too bad! I was really looking forward to Tina Fey in a scene with Gossip Girl stars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester.

EW's Michael Ausiello reported that their appearance has been shelved due to "logistical reasons". Hmm, it wasn't logical and the reasoning wasn't valid enough for them to do said cameo?

No wonder we haven't gotten any news on whether or not they filmed their scenes for November sweeps. Sucks because they shoot @ the same studios (Silvercup).

I guess Lively was honest when asked about the guest starring role last month. She said she didn't know too much about it and that it wasn't cemented. But she added that her sister, Robyn was all set to do it (playing the older Blake version). Guess that ain't happening either.

But I wonder, did the writers scrap the whole Liz Lemon going to her high school reunion altogether? Or did they just scrap head scarf and headband?

Suri Shops @ Hermes

Katie Holmes and daughter Suri Cruise were seen doing a little mother daughter shopping in New York City today. They were spotted carrying matching Hermes shopping bags. In other words, the sales people probably gave Suri an empty bag to lug around and promote the store @ the same time.

Gosh darn it, she is definitely a cutie. She should get off using the bottle though.

NKOTB In The Bay

A little more than 24 hours to go and then the New Kids on the Block make their bay area stop on their current tour. The excitement is catching on.

I missed them the first time around when all the hoopla surrounded them in the late 80's and early 90's.

They even appeared a few times on Dance Party USA. I had that captured on tape too. Where said tape is located is beyond me.

Flower Girl is going. Jean Jacket is going. Goose is excited about the early bird dinner. Buster will have that cocktail for the road. Hula Kuya can't make it. And me and the rest of the peeps will be making our way to the HP Pavil.

Remember, Lady GaGa and Natasha Bedingfield will be the opening acts. That's a good lineup. So Natasha and Daniel Bedingfield (If You're Not The One) are brother and sister? Where's he right now? Locked in with the rest of the one hit wonders, I suppose.

Her Madgesty who is currently on her Sticky & Sweet Tour personally picked Robyn to be her opening act for some European gigs. Robyn must have been thrilled, right?

But then she was given direct orders that the singer and her crew were to not speak to Madonna. Wow, so they weren't allowed to breathe the same air neither, huh?


So Robyn fulfills her duties and stated that she and Mrs. Ritchie never exchanged glances or words. Really?

She talks about how in love she is with her husband, David Arquette and how he wants her to grow old gracefully. Okay.

Cox has also admitted to Botox but hated it. So does she still do it?

Not So Breezy

Yesterday I was so exhausted. I was fine one minute and then I started to feel really groggy and tired around six o'clock.

The last few nights I've been getting an average of 4 hours of sleep but I've felt energized when I'd get up around 4:45 or so; not tired @ all. So I'm like, cool!

Bad move because it hit me like a ton of bricks last night and I ended up going to sleep @ 7:30 pm. And I still feel tired as we speak. What gives?

And I missed The New Adventures of Old Christine and Lipstick Jungle.

Twilight Nears

A little more than a month away until all the Twilight fanatics are fulfilled with the release of the film starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. I don't know the other actors (please don't throw things @ me) but I recall that Volchek from The OC and Rebecca Pope from Grey's Anatomy (and now on the Ex-List) are cast members as well.

LA And NYC Full Of Filming

Television shows are in production all over La La Land and New Yawk. Those cities are so huge yet overly populated, I wonder how easy it is to spot filming?

Prison Break, Numbers, Dirty Sexy Money, and Terminator are scheduled to be shooting all over the Los Angeles area today.

Fringe, starring Pacey Witter, oops, I meant Joshua Jackson, will be filming in Brooklyn College. Fringe also had their press conference last Saturday @ the Waldorf Astoria.

Gossip Girl and Lipstick Jungle are also in Brooklyn town today. They should all just do cross over appearances.

Brooke Shields was spotted shooting scenes on Monday for Lipstick Jungle. Have I mentioned that I like that show? It's on @ the same time as DSM though.

CSI:New York, Law & Order, and SVU are also filming the streets of Broadway, Madison, and so on.

How about filming in the bay area, like Vacaville or San Carlos?

Where Art Thou Wilson Phillips?

Yes, I listen to alternative music. Yes, I listen to freestyle music. Yes, I listen to mainstream pop music. I also listen to indie alternative and some R&B. But if anyone knows me well, my favorite musical act of all time has gots to be Wilson Phillips (Carnie & Wendy Wison and childhood pal Chynna Phillips). Don't laugh and don't ask me why.

I never got to see them live. The closest was when they were opening up for Richard Marx and I proudly made my dad buy me tickets. Then BAH! The show was canceled! And then they disbanded a couple of years later. Double BAH!

When they broke up, their friendship soured and I was acrushed. When they reunited in 2004, I was ecstatic. They did an album of cover songs from their youth and it did moderately medium. They were even planning to go on tour. I had already secured a friend (Buster) to accompany me because no one else I knew was remotely interested. And I think Buster only agreed because years ago, she upset me when we went into Amoeba, I think, and she refused to buy their first disc.....for $0.99!!!

During the album promoting, Wendy and Chynna revealed they were preggers. And then they disappeared again! And then Carnie had a baby. And then, Wendy got pregnant again and delivered twins! My chances of seeing them live became slim to none! BAH again!

Fast forward to the present. Wendy and her family appeared on Super Nanny and I thought she was supposed to release a CD of dance music. She and Carnie did a little bit of touring but I don't know that they are still active. They were doing casinos, I think.

And Chynna relocated her family with Billy Baldwin from New York to Los Angeles so he can film his TV series, Dirty Sexy Money, which is set in New York. The couple recently hosted a fundraiser for Barack Obama @ their Santa Barbara residence. They raised $58,000 and here's the kicker; Chynna supposedly sang a set from her new album. New album? Solo album? What about the Wilson's? Naked and Sacred, Part II?

Wilson Phillips. Very harmonious...

Preparations have been underway for the second round of the Presidential debate. Belmont University in Nashville will be hosting the meeting between Democratic nominee, Senator Barack Obama and Republican nominee, Senator John McCain.

Seems like the Vice Presidential debate last week was more sought after.

Kate And Leo's Revolution

Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio reunite this winter on the big screen with Revolutionary Road. They play husband and wife who's marriage is failing while set in the 1960's.

Matthew Perry Surfaces

My favorite friend, Matthew Perry was seen out and about the last few days. He was spotted with friends walking along Robertson Boulevard and on Saturday, he hosted the Lili Claire Foundation 11th Annual Benefit Dinner.

Jennie Garth, Peter Facinelli, Gavin Rossdale, and Oliver Hudson were among the benefit goers.
Lauren Graham, Matthew's frequent companion, didn't seem to surface that night. Why they just don't hook up is beyond us. They were @ Sundance earlier this year because they did a movie together. As always, I forgot the title.

Remember the days when Perry was always mobbed by the paparazzi? Could he be any more pleased by their presence?

Mr. P will turn the big 4-0 next year. Dang, he was like 25 when Friends started.

Gossip Girl Speaks To The Press

The cast of Gossip Girl had their press conference on Saturday, October 4th @ the Waldorf Astoria. So @ these events, celebrities sit around and answer questions about their TV shows or movies.

I could go to those things all day!

And what's up with Taylor Momsen (Jenny Humphrey) not being included? She is an original cast member and should have participated. They didn't even make her a part of the Entertainment Weekly cover shoot back in September. What's up with that? Is she too busy modeling?

Less Lily and Rufus, the main players, Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Chace Crawford, Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick, and Jessica Szohr were accounted for.

The Bangles Are Touring

Susannah Hoffs, Debbie Peterson, and Vicki Peterson somehow re-banded @ one point in time so the Bangles can play @ county fairs. They've been doing that for a while I think.

Where's Michael?

The group were in Perth over the weekend and will be touring overseas the next few weeks.

They were in Bakersfield, CA in mid-September and will be in Hawaii @ the end of December.

I didn't get a chance to see them when they were fiercely popular in the late 80's. They should come back to the Bay Area. Don't you agree?

Tina Fey Rockin'

Hot commodity Tina Fey was filming her television show, 30 Rock, Monday morning with co-star Jane Krakowski @ Rockefeller Center.

Fey once again reprised her Sarah Palin persona on Saturday Night Live this past weekend and killed it! Best part of the skit was when she pulled out a flute and asked if they were doing the talent portion. Most excellent! Did anyone catch when Queen Latifah accidentally referred to her as Senator Palin?

Rumor has it that Palin will be spoofing Fey in those American Express ads that Tina does.

The season premiere of 30 Rock airs @ the end of this month and Salma Hayek has agreed to do two episodes. The show keeps rolling with all sorts of guest stars. Go Liz Lemon!

Mom of six Angelina Jolie attended the press conference for her new film, Changeling, on Friday, October 3rd @ the Waldorf Astoria in NYC. Director Clint Eastwood joined her.

De Niro And The Penns

Robert De Niro joined co-stars Sean Penn and wife Robin Wright Penn for the premiere of their movie, What Just Happened on Wednesday @ the Museum of Modern Art in NYC.

The comedy is about a movie producer and the Hollywood movie making business.

De Niro was kind enough to sign a bunch of autographs for waiting fans.

I wonder if the Penns sold their house in Ross, CA?

The Real Reason : Justin Bobby!

Well, well, well. If this is a publicity stunt for The Hills, it sure is working. But then again, haven't we all wondered why Audrina (Patridge) and Lauren (Conrad) have really been on the outs? Is it honestly Lo Bosworth? Guess not. According to reports, Lauren hooked up with Audrina's on/off boyfriend, Justin Bobby (cymbals clashing)!

Audrina posted on her own blog that she doesn't know what's going on and she can't say for sure if this story is true or false but added it is hurtful. Conrad has denied these rumors through In Touch magazine.

Dang! What's up with that? Classic tale of a guy coming in between BFF's.

The questions are: Why won't Audrina say it isn't true? Does she believe that there may be an ounce of truth to all of this? Or is this all part of the producers plans to keep the story going? If true, how could Lauren do this?

90210 alum Shannen Doherty was out and about with a mystery male in LA. He's kinda cute, yeah? And Shannen looks good from that distance. We can't see her mystery gap or the noticeable aging in her face. I hope she continues her arc as Brenda Walsh. Show us the spitfire!

Lady GaGa Opening Up For The New Kids

Lady GaGa will be one of two (Natasha Bedingfield is the other one) opening acts for New Kids on the Block. And those opening acts I'm very much looking forward to as well as NKOTB, of course. Lady GaGa has a few good dance songs out and little drummer girl sings to "Paparazzi" all the time. Some say that Christina Aguilera copied her MTV VMA performance look off of the Lady.

Wow! Now I can see why Cashmere Mafia was canceled and Lipstick Jungle was not. I love this show! I wonder how it's doing in the ratings?

That scene with Nico (Kim Raver) and Kirby (Robert Buckley) on the roof top was wow. And as cute as Joe (Andrew McCarthy) is, the contractor that Victory is crushing on is so hot.

And the fashion is wow as well. Kim Raver's blue blouse from last week? So, so nice. Lindsay Price sported two bags last night that were pretty pretty. She sure doesn't look like Janet from 90210 anymore. Ian Ziering? Andrew McCarthy? Ian Ziering? Hot contractor guy?

Oh, and Brooke Shields also had a storyline but it was boring. They better spice her up quick.

There won't be a new episode of The Office or Grey's Anatomy on Thursday even though their fall season just started last week. It's a special occasion. It's the Vice Presidential Debate that evening between Democratic nominee Joe Biden and Republican nominee Sarah Palin.

Where is Governor Palin? Isn't she being coached and briefed on how to respond to questions and such by the McCain camp?

Viewers will be tuning in by the millions.

The way Kelly (Jennie Garth) was fighting with Brenda (Shannen Doherty) on last night's 90210 made me pause for a sec. It's 2008, right? Goodness gracious; Kelly reverted to high school smack, accusing Brenda of wanting Dylan all to herself. WTF? What is going on with my favorite blond CW characters these days? Have they really been reading "Be Your Own Wind Keeper?" (Good analogy from Jacob @ TWOP). And they're making their BFF's out to be their "lightening barriers".

Why was Brenda tearing up after deleting Dylan's contact info on her phone?

What did Ryan and Brenda do after the fashion show?

Why do I keep forgetting that Aunt Becky is on this show?

Why do I not see the chemistry between Dixon (Tristan Wilds) and Silver (Jessica Stroup)? Why are their first names last names?

And most importantly, Brenda may go visit her brother, Brandon AND HIS FAMILY? Whoa, Bessie...It better not be Emily Valentine. This just crushes it for me. Kelly never ended up with Brandon and Jim and Cindy are floating along in Hong Kong.
