Donna Martin Graduates To New 90210

A-ha! So we will see another (almost) original cast member pop up on the CW's 90210.

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Tori Spelling aka Donna Martin (Silver) will make an appearance on the show. I don't know when, where, and for how long. But she better have screen time with both Shannen and Jennie!

Claire should come back. And Valerie Malone! I so want to see Tiffani Thiessen and Shannen Doherty on screen together. That would be grrr-eat.

Did something go wrong with Tiffani and Jennie Garth? They were BFF's. Jennie introduced Thiessen to her husband and I never saw a picture of her @ that wedding. And they used to go to events together. Kelly Kapowski was even there when Jennie delivered her two older daughters, right? I'm curious.

It's 2009! And Kelly And Brenda Are Back On 90210

This is why I continue to watch and support 90210; Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty will reprise their original roles as Kelly Taylor and Brenda Walsh.

Last we left these two, Brenda admitted to Kelly that she slept with teacher Ryan, who Kelly had dated. In the new episode slated to air on January 6, the former BFFers will unite to support troubled teen Adrianna.

As for the other storylines? I don't know too much. A girl may possibly come between Silver & Dixon and Ethan & Annie have yet to nuk-nuk. And is Harry's first born son really who he claims to be?

The eppy which is titled Hello, Goodbye, Amen airs on the CW.

Ooh, Brenda And Kelly Drama On 90210

The seconds long preview for next week's episode of 90210 looked better than last night's entire episode.

It looks like some chick has the hots for Silver's man, Dixon and Kelly (Jennie Garth) and Brenda (Shannen Doherty) are back! Now that's what I'm looking forward to watching.

From the clips, it seems that Brenda has been avoiding Kelly. Why? Because she slept with Ryan the teacher and fessed up while in a hospital bed! What's wrong with Brenda?!

Shannen Shakes It Up Dos More Times

Oh, goody. Shannen Doherty aka Brenda Walsh has agreed to return to the CW's 90210 for an additional two episodes beginning November 18th. Maybe we'll find out why she was so upset deleting Dylan's contact info from her phone or if she did indeed go and visit her twin brother, Brandon and family.

In other 90210 news, Jessica Walters, who plays Annie and Dixon's grandmother has been dropped from series regular to recurring status. What, no more Linda Gray then?

And troubled druggie Adrianna, played by Jessica Lowndes, has been bumped from recurring to series regular. Ooh, they traded in one Jessica for another.

Jason Will Direct, Shannen May Return, And Second Duo Emerge

So the latest is Jason Priestley will return to 90210 behind the camera. He's slated to direct an episode (and maybe more?). And then his TV twin, Shannen Doherty is thisclose to appearing again as Brenda Walsh dos more times. Jennie Garth will return as Kelly Taylor for 6 more episodes (@ maybe $50,000 an episode? Hell, yeah, she'll return!).

Will Adriana survive her OD scene from last week? Well, from the promo images that got out, it's very likely.

And with Dustin Milligan (Ethan) and Jessica Stroup (Silver) coupling up off-screen, so has Jessica Lowndes (Adriana) and Adam Gregory (Ty).

Courteney Cox And Botox

Monica Geller hyphen Bing, known in real life as Courteney Cox is on the cover of Marie Claire's November issue.

She talks about how in love she is with her husband, David Arquette and how he wants her to grow old gracefully. Okay.

Cox has also admitted to Botox but hated it. So does she still do it?

You know who else has admitted to Botox? Jennie Garth. You know who we can tell hasn't had it done? Shannen Doherty.

Shannen Out With Her Man

90210 alum Shannen Doherty was out and about with a mystery male in LA. He's kinda cute, yeah? And Shannen looks good from that distance. We can't see her mystery gap or the noticeable aging in her face. I hope she continues her arc as Brenda Walsh. Show us the spitfire!

Wait, Is It 1992?

The way Kelly (Jennie Garth) was fighting with Brenda (Shannen Doherty) on last night's 90210 made me pause for a sec. It's 2008, right? Goodness gracious; Kelly reverted to high school smack, accusing Brenda of wanting Dylan all to herself. WTF? What is going on with my favorite blond CW characters these days? Have they really been reading "Be Your Own Wind Keeper?" (Good analogy from Jacob @ TWOP). And they're making their BFF's out to be their "lightening barriers".

Why was Brenda tearing up after deleting Dylan's contact info on her phone?

What did Ryan and Brenda do after the fashion show?

Why do I keep forgetting that Aunt Becky is on this show?

Why do I not see the chemistry between Dixon (Tristan Wilds) and Silver (Jessica Stroup)? Why are their first names last names?

And most importantly, Brenda may go visit her brother, Brandon AND HIS FAMILY? Whoa, Bessie...It better not be Emily Valentine. This just crushes it for me. Kelly never ended up with Brandon and Jim and Cindy are floating along in Hong Kong.

Dylan Calls Brenda's Phone

Ugh! Here's a preview for the next episode of 90210. Dylan calls Brenda (Shannen Doherty) on her cell looking for Kelly (Jennie Garth).


I've been on Team Kelly for a long time now but I wasn't so much when Brenda was still on the show and they'd fight constantly. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Kelly is starting to irritate the f--k out of me because she's doing it again on the new 90210. A whole bitchy demeanor comes out and her attacks are uncalled for in regards to her snapping @ Brenda (even though she looks hecka old). Whatevs...

Shannen Is All Gappy

That seems to be the topic regarding Shannen Doherty, best known as 90210's Brenda Walsh; her gap. What is up with it? At first, I could have sworn her gap was not in the middle, but on the side of her front teeth. You could totally see it during the early 90210 years. And now all of a sudden, it's in between her two front teeth. Just. How. Did. That. Happen? I tried looking for various pictures of her but she tends to not show her teeth and present a closed mouth smile.

What do you think? Anyone? Anyone?

Oh, and yesterday it was announced that the new 90210 has been picked up for a full season. I'm not feeling it as much. Kelly, Brenda, and Nat (plus the unseen Willie) do the trick for me but once they all say bye-bye, I may as well follow.

Some of this just doesn't make sense. Kelly's (Jennie Garth) baby daddy is a do gooder traveling the world doing charity work? Does that sound like Dylan? Brenda (Shannen Doherty) telling Kelly to get her stories straight? What's that about? Can't Brandon still be the father yet unable to be with former drug addict, cult follower K. Taylor because she's still in love with Valerie Malone's old sleeping buddy? Fine! I know, I know. Dylan McKay is the father. I just hope they explain how Kelly was able to have a child when it was unlikely when she miscarried with Brandon.

Maybe More Shannen?

Shannen Doherty finished filming her 4 episode stint last Monday on 90210 as Brenda Walsh. A rep for Doherty did say that she would consider doing more and the producers are down for it as well. In the mean time, Shannen said she is now focusing on pitching a pilot but made no elaboration. Her co-star Jennie Garth is set to continue on as guidance counselor Kelly Taylor after finishing her initial 6 episode commitment.

Kelly's Baby Daddy On 90210

So according to People magazine, Kelly Taylor's baby daddy will be revealed by name on Sept. 16th. Brenda (Shannen Doherty) will say his name during a confrontation with Kelly (Jennie Garth). And if any of you read my post from last week I think, then you know who it could possibly be. Also, if you've seen the promos, they show Brenda saying this to Kelly, "You're never gonna be happy with someone else because you're still in love with _____". Garth and Doherty were told who the father was and they liked it. Both Luke Perry and Jason Priestley (who played Dylan McKay and Brandon Walsh) have stated they have no plans to make appearances on the new 90210. Yeah, right.

I really wanted Brandon to be the father but it doesn't look like it's going that way. That a-sucks. Maybe Nat's the father! Or John Sears!

CW Scores High Ratings; Kaitlin Cooper To Wreck Gossip Havoc

The struggling network, the CW, should be dancing a little bit today. For the second night in a row, they scored outstanding ratings. It isn't colossal or up to the standards of the 3 main networks, but they scored. 90210 had 4.9 million viewers for last night's premiere, Gossip Girl had it's highest ratings since it first premiered and One Tree Hill did just as excellent. Tonight is America's Next Top Model season premiere and that'll do just as great I'm sure.

Willa Holland, who played Marissa's sister Kaitlin on the OC, snagged a multi episode arc on Gossip Girl and she'll be paired with Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen) to stir up some trouble of course. I love that casting coup and can't wait to watch those two little girls.

John Patrick Amedori has been cast as Aaron Rose, Serena's (Blake Lively) new boyfriend. In the books, he is so not this guy. I pictured him fine and tattered up, not to mention older. Do Blake and Penn "Dan" Badgley have it in their contracts that only unattractive people play their on-screen kissing partners? Did you see those girls Dan hooked up with in the premiere? Same for Leighton "Blair" Meester; Lord Marcus is okay, but a little wussy. Sebastian is a-okay.

Did 90210 Rule?

So what did you all think of 90210 last night? I thought it was alright, it held my interest for the 2 hours. But it was so exciting to see Brenda (Shannen Doherty) run up to Nat & Kelly (Jennie Garth) around 9:30ish. God, I almost peed in my pants! The other storylines unfolding seem okay. Silver is the most interesting character I think, Navid is cute, and if Harry (Rob Estes) does have an adult son with Naomi's mom, chances are they'll make it Ryan the teacher. That's my hunch. And Kelly's baby daddy is probably Dylan and not Brandon. Brandon isn't the type to be off in Belize somewhere if he knew he had a child, especially with Kelly.

Queue The Theme Song! 90210 Is On Tonight

The moment is coming close to finally arriving. 90210 is premiering tonight on the CW with a two hour episode. It's sexier, it's hotter, and it's more risque. There's a lot riding on this premiere so we'll see if it lives up to all the hype that's been sprinkled all over the place. A part of the public's curiosity is the return of original cast members Jennie Garth (Kelly Taylor) and Shannen Doherty (Brenda Walsh). And I will admit, that is probably about 95% the reason I plan to tune in. I would have anyway but their appearances sealed it. Doherty is contracted to 4 episodes while Garth (whose contract is open-ended) will probably be on for most of the 13 episodes the network ordered. Regardless, we'll all be salivating @ any Brenda scenes that come our way. Squee!!!

Speaking of CW shows, Gossip Girl was great last night. I enjoyed Jenny's (Taylor Momsen) storyline and wished there were more Nate/Serena (Chace Crawford, Blake Lively) scenes on air that of course ended up on the cutting room floor. I didn't particularly care for the way S went back to Dan so quickly. What's so great about him? All he does is judge her. She should just stick to watching "The Closer" (the other Brenda) like she was telling Blair. But for whatever reason, I want them to get their shit together cuz I love Dan and Serena!

And what about One Tree Hill? Peyton's (Hilarie Burton) getting prettier by the season. I'm glad she got rid of those ugly, kinky curls. Watching Deb and Skillz is weird. And I can't comment on the rest since I took my meds last night and fell asleep @ 9:30 (Boo!). I did DVR it though so I'll view it later.

90210 In 48 Hours

A couple more days to go until the 2 hour season premiere of 90210 (2.0)! Are you excited and just can't hide it?

SoapNet is having a marathon of the original series starting @ midnight tonight and I think it's going to focus on the BFFness of Kelly and Brenda in preparation for their reunion on the new version. Catch it if you're toiling around the house tomorrow or have it on during your Labor Day BBQ.

I love Shannen Doherty even more because she's a fan of Gossip Girl.
