Alexis Bledel Does Her B-Day @ Prive

Gilmore Girl and Sisterhood member Alexis Bledel celebrated her 27th birthday @ Prive in Las Vegas last night. But did she go by herself and was she there by herself? No other party goers were pictured with her. I hope she didn't get dressed up to be in the VIP section all by her lonesome. At least Sookie should have gone to greet her or even Lorelei! And where's the Sisterhood gang? I thought they were friends...

Alexis Bledel All Over New York

Another grievance I have is that the Gilmore Girls ended a season too early. They were so close to continuing last year when the CW decided to just pull it. Where is Lauren Graham now? What happened to Hep Alien? Luckily, Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore) has continued to act in films. Nothing blockbuster but still, she's a hella good actress and she isn't like all those other typical celebrities. Currently Bledel is in New York filming The Good Guy and she was snapped on set Monday.

Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher were in Tokyo promoting their film, What Happens in Vegas. Why?

Here's Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, and Blake Lively sitting together @ the Teen Choice Awards (that's Chad Michael Murray's fiance in the white dress behind them). Blake and Penn were spotted @ Sprinkles (she bought like 3 dozen cupcakes; was is it all for her?) in Beverly Hills earlier that day and the paps had the gall to ask them if they went on double dates with Chace and Ed Westwick. Their reaction was pretty funny.

And here's Bladgley with Sophia Bush. I guess it isn't awkward with her ex-husband Chad and his girl since Sophia walked right in front of them to greet Blake. Doesn't Sophia look way better than Kenzie (Chad's fiance)?

Here's David Beckham and Zac Efron @ the Teen Choice Awards. David brought his kids on stage to accept his award and then little Cruz started break dancing. He's like 3.

Last night in LA, Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz were @ the premiere for Vicky Cristina Barcelona and here they are @ the after party.

On the DVD front, Nim's Island, Get Smart Season 1, and Family Ties (4th season) are out today. Oh, Family Ties (Mallor-yyyyy!!!). That was on Thursdays right before Cheers. I didn't see anything major as far as CD releases unless you count Whitesnake's 30th Anniversary Collection a must have. Maybe there'll be a poster enclosed of Tawny Kitaen.

Googly Eyes was so cute yesterday. He told me how his and Diamond's little dog, Gilbert (yes, the dog is a girl and that is her name) is becoming a woman if you catch my drift. And poor little drummer girl keeps thinking she'll see October soon. I keep telling her that dog is dunzo (not literally, she just got sent back).

Weather not so good here in the south bay.

It's time to go to Walgreens.

Blake Lively's Brown Buddy

Gossip Girl star Blake Lively was snapped @ Silvercup Studios on Thursday with her other companion, Penny. Yes, her dog's name is Penny and her boyfriend's name is Penn. Coincidence? Yes, because her ex-boyfriend, Kelly, gave her Penny years ago. Blake's on screen BFF, Leighton "Blair" Meester was out on Friday shooting scenes of her own and boy, was she ruffly.

And this morning, Blake was with America Ferrera, Alexis Bledel, & Amber Tamblyn @ The New York Regency doing press for their upcoming movie, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. That might not do so good. But didn't the first one achieve moderate success?








Why else would they do a second one if the first film bombed, right? I think I answered my own question.

Speaking of Alexis Bledel (Gilmore Girls (great show)), remember when she was the love of Milo Ventimiglia's life? They looked really good together. Now, he's with that Hayden girl who he co-stars with on Heroes (they sat apart @ Comic-Con yesterday). And Alexis is with some new dude.

Doesn't Kelly Clarkson look like Maura Tierney from ER? I thought about that recently. Don't ask me why.

I shopped @ Stonestown yesterday with the clubette. And there was a luncheon for Grandmother's birthday in DC town. Master Sibling was there. He was prepping to go out with Junior Hi Best Friend #1 ("Hi Ate!"). She somehow lured him to an early bird dinner (I'm still cracking up). Did you guys have a pleasant meal?
