Obama In Primetime

Tonight @ 8:00 pm, an infomercial will be telecast featuring Democrat Barack Obama and his race for the presidential seat. Obama purchased a 30 minute ad space to hopefully convince more voters his way.

The Senator is already leading in some key states and we shall all find out next week who will be the next President of The United States.

We're all going to go out and vote November 4th, yeah?

The Final Countdown

Tonight is the third and final presidential debate between Republican nominee, John McCain and Democratic nominee, Barack Obama. The debate will be broadcast live from New York @ the Hofstra University in Hempstead.

McCain and Obama are set to be seated next to each other for this round.

The election is less than a month away and the 90 minute debate will most likely focus heavily on the economic crisis.

Obama has been leading McCain in the polls and CNN conducted a poll of polls (huh?) that have Barack leading 50 percent to John's 42 percent.

I received my absentee ballot yesterday. Ooohh...

Jessica And Justin Will Vote Obama

Celeb couple Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake were in Las Vegas over the weekend for a rally supporting Democratic candidate, Barack Obama.

Where are the PSA's and videos that show support for John McCain? Are there any?

Here is Timberlake doing an impromptu diddy, "Vote in a Box", an homage to his Saturday Night Live digital short, "D--- in a Box", with Biel doing a little dancing.

Blake And Penn Will Vote Obama

MoveOn.org released an ad urging young voters to vote for Barack Obama and not John McCain.

Director Doug Liman (Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Bourne Identity) helmed the PSA which features Gossip Girl stars and real-life couple, Blake Lively and Penn Badgley.

Hmm, I don't know.

And Daddy Yankee has endorsed McCain. Daddy who?

Round 2: Presidential Debate

Preparations have been underway for the second round of the Presidential debate. Belmont University in Nashville will be hosting the meeting between Democratic nominee, Senator Barack Obama and Republican nominee, Senator John McCain.

Seems like the Vice Presidential debate last week was more sought after.

Hope everyone got a chance to register yesterday.

Political Stance

On his 72nd birthday, John McCain made headlines earlier today by choosing Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin as his Vice Presidential running mate. In the last few hours, this virtual unknown political figure has had all these news blurbs about her streamed through the internet and on newscasts. Like, did you know that Palin came in 2nd place @ the '84 Miss Alaska pageant? And Perez already posted what looks like some old photo of her posing like it's some school picture.

Obama already commented on the fact that McCain chose a VP candidate that has no knowledge on foreign policies. I am down to watch Biden debate Palin in the coming weeks.

Something that people don't know about me is I follow all things political. I am aware about Drudge and watch MSNBC and know about all those cable news anchors. Often times I discuss news stories with my boss, Les. I try to school him on all things pop culture but his patience for it starts to wear thin.

It is the 21st century; Like some people have already stated, we'll either have our first African American President or our first woman Vice-President. Either way, it'll definitely be a whole new beginning.
