Dude! Who saw Faye Dunaway guest star on last week's episode of Grey's Anatomy?

You know she was channeling her Mommie Dearest role. NO WIRE HANGERS!

On Grey's, she yelled @ Yang, "Get Out! This is still my OR!" She hella roared it.

I was totally laughing my ass off. That was like the best part of the show. Oh, and Snow Patrol playing @ the end there.

Where was George?

Ellen Pompeo And Katherine Heigl Do Lunch

Enjoying the California sun earlier today, Grey's Anatomy co-stars, Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey) and Katherine Heigl (Izzie Stevens) were spotted having lunch @ Cruzer Pizza & Pasta in the Los Feliz section of LA.

The two were joined by another female friend and no it wasn't Yang, Torres, or Bailey.

Wonder if they were to report back to the set afterwards? They were having some good 'ole wine with their meal; always nice.

A new episode of Grey's Anatomy airs tomorrow night. Let's count how many scenes and/or lines T.R. Knight has, okay?

BTW, that sweater on Pompeo is not flattering @ all.

Another Grey's Exit

Actress Melissa George will be leaving Grey's Anatomy per Entertainment Weekly.

George played intern Sadie, old friend of Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) and current girl crush of Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez). Guess the latter won't turn into anything.

I liked Melissa's character on the show and wished she was just given more to do. I can see why she opted to not extend her stay and move on to something else.

And T.R. Knight's George character didn't have anything @ all last week. No wonder there's rumors flying about his desire to jump ship.

But I still watch. Half-heartedly.

Grey's And George May Part Ways

Reports are circulating that actor T.R. Knight is asking to be released from his contract with Grey's Anatomy, despite having three more years to fulfill.

Sources have spilled to Entertainment Weekly and The Associated Press that Knight is unhappy with the direction (which seems to be nowhere from where I watch) his character is going.

ABC and Grey's creator Shonda Rhimes are rumored to grant the request.

Is it me or has the show gone downhill? I used to be so giddy with excitement for Thursdays and now I haven't been completely watching the newer episodes in its entirety. I've been channel surfing or not even watching any TV @ all. Meredith and Derek used to be so hot and now they barely have scenes together even though they are a full fledged, committed couple! And that Denny & Izzie storyline stinks.

Even ER has managed to hold my interest after such a long, long time. I don't know why.

Seattle Grace's New Intern

Ex Alias co-star Melissa George will be shaking things up a bit on Grey's Anatomy. She'll be a new intern set to debut on the November 6 episode and George's character will not only be bi-sexual, she'll have some prior connection to Dr. Meredith Grey, played by Ellen Pompeo. In what capacity? I do not know.

I heard she may also be involved in the Callie (Sara Ramirez) / Erica (Brooke Smith) storyline.

Melissa played Emma's nanny on Friends. And she was Clive Owen's wife in Derailed. Just thought I'd share that with you.

Grey's Anatomy is Back!

Yay for all the GA viewers. We are treated to a 2 hour season premiere for their 5th season. And Derek (Patrick Dempsey) & Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) stay together. Forever. I love when my fave couples stay together. I don't find that boring @ all. Every show follows the cliche of putting a pair together and then breaking them up. For angst and sexual tension of course.

Sidebar - I never thought Luke (Scott Patterson) and Lorelai (Lauren Graham) would break up on Gilmore Girls, but of course, they followed the cliche. And then they got back together on the series finale and I felt cheated. No wedding, no nothin'.

But back to Grey's, what's up with that promo about Nurse Rose (what's her real name?) telling McDreamy she's preggers. Dream? Derek involved in a bad accident. Dream? Izzie (Katherine Heigl) still on the show. Dream?

Also exciting is the music they'll be playing throughout the episode. They have the best songs. Sometimes when you're going trough something or talking to someone, are you also imagining a song playing right then and there?

Oh, I don't.

Networks Priming For Premieres

With Labor Day fast approaching, not only does it mean that summer is coming to a close and that classes have begun, but the new Fall TV season is about to get underway. Squee!!!

The CW is getting an early head start with the premieres of shows like Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, and 90210 airing new episodes on Sept. 1st and 2nd. Fox's Prison Break will also premiere on Labor Day and I believe Bones will start on Wednesday, Sept. 03.

NBC released some promo photos of The Office (Sept. 25) gang and rumor has it that Michael Scott will be involved in a triangle with Jan ("That one night") and Holly, the one that replaced Toby. Pam went off to art school and made a new male buddy.
Grey's Anatomy, which also premieres on the 25th, we'll get to see Meredith & Derek cohabitate and Yang will get a new love interest. Erica and Callie will explore together and McSteamy will be a part of their storyline. The others (George, Lexie, Alex, Izzie, Bailey and the Chief) are there too.
Desperate Housewives will kick off their season on Sept. 28th and Pushing Daisies will re-appear on Oct. 1st so you'll get your fill of Swoosie Kurtz.

How I Met Your Mother, Sarah Chalke

If you don't watch CBS' How I Met Your Mother, you should (Alyson Hannigan has one of TV's best wardrobe). It's really funny and does moderately well in the ratings. I've watched it from the very beginning, so I can tell you all about it if you're interested. But Sarah Chalke (Scrubs' Elliott), who plays lead character, Ted's girlfriend, is coming back for 4 of the new season's first 6 episodes and the producers are actually toying with the idea of making her the "mother". Bravo, I say. Chalke has come a long way from being Becky #2 on Roseanne. She's gotten so much better @ acting and it shows in Mother as well as Scrubs. She wears Hanes underwear.

Michael Phelps is kicking ass in the Olympics. He's won how many gold medals now? He'll be all over the talk show circuit upon completion.

It's new releases Tuesday. Here are my picks; Smart People and Warlords are out on DVD. Television series' also out on DVD are Prison Break (3rd season), South Park (11th season), and the 1st season of Caroline in the City. I know you'll all be running to your nearest Best Buy to purchase that last one. Why did I watch that, too? Maybe because it was part of the unstoppable Thursday night lineup in the 90's. As far as Cd's, Lil Wayne and Nelly have released discs and the soundtrack to Star Wars: The Clone Wars is available today. The Cure also has The Perfect Boy/Without You released today as well as San Francisco Days by dreamy Chris Isaak.

I just got a brain freeze. Ouch!

Meredith and Derek will be living together on the new season of Grey's Anatomy. Yay! I hope they make her hair better and not have it look all nappy and nubbly like last season. And the Callie/Erica storyline will be played out. I think Yang and McSteamy should become roommates.

Is Rihanna ("ella, ella, ella") really going out with Chris Brown? Weren't they in Barbados or the Bahamas a few days ago? I think they were spotted shopping yesterday.

Sienna Miller was crying @ the gas station in Malibu yesterday cuz the paps were hounding her. "I just want to get gas!" she yelled. Whatevs. She's kinda icky, no?

I know a lot of you are excited for the latest episode of Tori & Dean tonight. And who would pay Audrina Patridge from The Hills $5,000 to go to a club and mingle with her "fans?" Sheesh.

So my co-worker brought in these huge chocolate chip cookies and I ate (devoured) one this morning. I'm not feeling so good now.

I Was More Than Happy To Pay For Parking

So Goose and I finally made our way to Maiden Lane. No one was tired today. Dang, what a fancy little street. It even has those pearly gates. Talented musicians were shouting the blues for the lunching patrons. And the beauty that is the Chanel boutique was up ahead. I'm still gushing. I love that store! We walked around some more and it was such a beautiful day in San Francisco. The streets were bustling and the shops were filled. Good day. And a good day to pay for parking. You're welcome Goose.
Angelina Jolie gave birth to Knox and Vivienne Saturday night bringing her kid total to 6. Who still watches Miss Universe? Venezuela won the title and USA took a fall. Oops. What's up with the talk about creator Shonda Rimes possibly killing off Katherine Heigl's "Izzie" character on Grey's Anatomy? Hmm, we'll wait and see since they have started filming for the new season already. And for a few episodes, Courteney Cox is joining Scrubs joining ABC. Too bad Dirt got canceled.
What's that I hear? Oh yes, the laundry is calling my name. Nighty night.
